I don't think Gwibber supports video-chat/ calls

Isn't Gwibber capable of providing support for all this so it can be used as alternative for video chat for both Skype and gtalk. Like Ubuntu use to simply provide pre installed applications (gwibber was one). So slight look and feel change to it should
make it integrated application.

I assume this video app is not real.
I also don't believe we will get Skype or google talk plugin any time soon.
So how about getting alternatives on board or developing their own solution?
one option might be porting open source "Jitsi": http://xmpp.org/2013/03/jitsi-2-0-now-released/
an advantage is that it already has desktop clients and is multi-protocol. Maybe even a QML client can be built.
Also could get the ReelPortal devs interested early: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sBDeSE87F0
Anyway I Think the "chats" should be part of the core experience, like that of the latest Blackberries: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpToSYL9bT4
