Re: ubuntu touch for x86 tablet?

Is all about screen size and peripherals.
without a mouse/KB why would you want to use mouse/kb apps on a touchscreen ?
if android can work on x86, why can't u-touch ? why give them also that market to themselves ?

If anything most tablets that run x86 would be better off using Ubuntu desktop in my view. Will ubuntu touch allow this?

Is there really any need as Ubuntu is touch orientated as it is now.

In some ways the question would be how much would x86 be used?
As far as I know there is only 1 android device with an x86 CPU in for sale in my local phone shops (Razer I) and is known to have problems, this also leads to the question on why most android devices have an ARM CPU and is it worth porting Ubuntu Touch to x86?
