I'm sorry, but this has nothing to do with OS integration in uTouch.

Even the jQuery folks have said there are more workarounds in their code

I would like to see a reference for that. As, in my experience, webkit has
been the one for which I've had to code nothinh extra, and I work as a
front-end developer.

Won't Firefox be default, or at least have an option to install Firefox on

Webkit is being used because of its bindings with Qt. AFAIK, Firefox does
not have a uTouch/QML interface, so, untill it gets it, it might not be
usable, unless its in Desktop mode.
