I could not find that server.conf:

root@ubuntu-phablet:~# ls -la /etc/xdg/
total 16

drwxr-xr-x  2 root root 4096 Jun 22 23:40 autostart
drwxr-xr-x  2 root root 4096 Jun 22 23:40 menus

I tried to find the file in several maliit packages to no avail. Then I
installed apt-file and updated its database so I could search for it:
root@ubuntu-phablet:~# apt-file search server.conf | grep malii
plasma-active-default-settings: /etc/skel/.config/maliit.org/server.conf
root@ubuntu-phablet:~#

So, isn't /etc/xdg/maliit.org/server.conf packaged?
