Re: Ubuntu Edge (the Ubuntu handset)

 

Gustavo is right, we can't give up. We got to stay positive and keep working towards success, supporting each other along the way. Canonical wants the best for the Edge.

What would sadden me even more than not meeting the funds though is if Canonical "gets out of the hardware business" should the campaign not be a success. This would definitely be a mistake because the Edge is an awesome design and it's obvious Canonical has a lot to offer the hardware market. Android is not making any phones with the Edge's physical dimensions/design, so people will turn to Canonical/Ubuntu for those phones.
