this means nuking(*) the current checkout? no easy way to feed these
four letters into the ramdisk?

(*) git://phablet.ubuntu.com/CyanogenMod/android.git only has a
phablet-saucy atm.. need to wait until a trusty branch appears, then
re-repo init?
