I have installed the previous emulator days before. So when I try to install this new version, it says "android-emulator is already the newest version.". Then I remove it and try to install it again, now it says:
Package android-emulator is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'android-emulator' has no installation candidate

Is there another source for the emulator?

Yeah, I couldn't get unity8 to start here. When starting, my error was:

terminate called after throwing an instance of
'boost::exception_detail::clone_impl<boost::exception_detail::error_info_injector<std::runtime_error>

   what():  buffer allocation failed

Yes, that should be just fine.
