It's a regression, but an expected one, as we knew phablet-screenshot
was using an unsupported path (dumping framebuffer directly).
Unfortunately both mako and flo dropped the support for the
framebuffer device, and now they can only work properly via hwcomposer
(and that's why you now need Mir).

The good news is that I requested this feature last week and it seems
to be merged in mir/devel already
(https://code.launchpad.net/~kdub/mir/mirscreencast-limited-capture/+merge/207314).
Kevin, when do you expect to land/release Mir 0.1.6?
