Re: multi-rom

The updates work with MultiROM if Ubuntu is installed via the MultiROM Mgr
app[1]. It installs images from system-image, and works for mako and
grouper. I'll add support for the new flo (and hammerhead, I hope) images
in a few days. Updates won't work with the images that you've installed
from ZIP files in recovery, they are different.

MultiROM's TWRP is modified specificaly to support Ubuntu's updates. Just
go to Settings -> Updates in Ubuntu and let it do it's thing (provided any
updates are available).

It is described as a "hack" because of what it has to do in order to
achieve multi-booting on such closed systems as Android phones and tablets.
I don't think there is any way to do it "cleanly".

will stock updates work with multirom on flo, after a reboot will
multirom interupt?

I wanna install android and ubuntu touch but im not sure howi would update.

i have a nexus 4 with ubuntu touch, a nexus 2012 nexus 7 with ubuntu
touch, and a nexus 2013 nexus 7 with multirom stock 4.3(ran into
update issues) caynogenmod 10.1 firefox os and pacrom. its a 32 gb
2013 any help with these issues and ill put multirom on my phone
gladly. I have a samsung galaxy s3 with caynogenmod as a backup (keep
on me and switch sims if i need to).

ive read about the stock dual boot but dont know how stable it is yet,
will the multirom be a better job for now? (even the cerator calls it
a hack of some sort) seems to run fine to me.

will the custom recovery (twrp?) be a problem (i imagine touch has to
have its own and i know it does) any help or point in the right
directon will be a huge help. I moderate with linux and have been
useing ubuntu for four years now(i use other dist as well)
