If anything, the average customer trying a phone for a few seconds at
a shop would be even *less* likely to try invisible things, like
side-swiping, than an enthusiast or industry expert at a trade show
for new mobile technology.

(This raises an interesting point: The first-run gesture tutorial
won't be visible to potential customers, unless the phone is
completely reset between each person playing with it in the shop,
which is unlikely.)

Fortunately, Back in a swiped toolbar, and the Android UI, aren't the
only two possible choices.
