I don't have any information on your specific problem, but notice that you sent
this to the ubuntu-phone list, which implies the app is to run on the phone and
therefore likely shipped via click. Currently there are no click framework
definitions for python QML apps, will make packaging your app difficult (though
not necessarily impossible).
