Hi everyone!
So, a status update regarding the breakage: we are not really completely
sure yet what is causing the problem, bisecting is in progress. Most
developers are off already so it's hard to state an ETA.
Because of that, the original idea of a revert won't work. So, generally
be warned! -proposed images will have this broken until it's properly fixed.
After some discussion, we decided that we will try to re-promote the
last promoted image (that is, image #17) as #20. First Alan will just do
a quick check if the same bug is not present in that image. If he gives
a green light, we will copy #17 as the new promoted #20. This will be a
workaround to unblock all non-dev users.
We apologize for all the inconveniences. We already added this to our
dogfooding test plan so that such a regression will not go unnoticed
next time during promotion decisions.
