how do you define "non ubuntu libs" ? all work and effort is now focused
on getting a QML based desktop ready ... based on the unity8 code we use
on tablets and phones ... the libs provided by the ubuntu-sdk-libs
metapackage are actually the *default* ubuntu libs now ... :)

a so called "merge proposal", launchpad offers you to pull a code
branch, make changes to it, push it  to your personal launchpad
namespace and then ass for having it merged into the trunk branch of teh
thing you want to fix ... we usually use the abbreviation MP for
this ...
