Message #09001
Still religious comments in core-apps code
Hi all,
I found again something annoying :
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-filemanager-dev/ubuntu-filemanager-app/trunk/view/head:/src/app/qml/components/AutoSpacedGrid.qml
lines2:4
It's the second time I notice that kind of comment, first time was on
Feb 3rd 2014 and M Spencer removed the comment during the next week.
The bazaar log says that the file AutoSpacedGrid.qml was uploaded on Feb
19th.
So it seems that M Spencer consciously wants to inject some kind of
religious proselytism in core apps code. I just looked files in that
folder, I don't know if other files are contaminated.
Worse, his previous explanation (mails from Feb 3rd 2014 :
https://lists.launchpad.net/ubuntu-phone/msg06262.html) indicates that
he feels right when uploading such comments. He even considers that
religious proselytism as part of file header ! This is a typical
workaround for people trying to inject some fake information.
I find that behavior a threat to Canonical and to other devs.
I really hope that Canonical will clarify that and act accordingly to
prevent that kind of behavior (specially in the review process as
proposed by manuel.delapena@xxxxxxxxxxxxx in the previous mails).
