my apologies, i meant to send a mail last night on this one.
bottom line, we thot we had a fix, got to talking realized we needed to do
a little surgery vs band-aiding....so we backed up, had lots of discussion
on irc & launchpad....
we've got another MP approved, once it lands on our devel, we'll propose to
trunk in an isolated fashion...e.g. we'll do a 0.4.1mir with this bug fix
only (no other updates)
