Hello everyone,

Still no promotions today, sadly. Even though all our blocking issues
have been fixed (the Mir-caused hang-ups, scopes, broken welcome wizard)
the landings did not improve the quality of our tablet form-factors.
With the help of upstream we finally pin-pointed the exact root cause of
those problems [1], with a fix prepared by developers and ready in a
silo. We intend to land it as soon as it's properly tested, kick a new
image and prepare ourselves for a promotion tomorrow morning.

Smoketesting wise we're looking really good, with only single failures
remaining - most of them being general flaky tests. The only worrying
issue is the unreproducible locally but re-ocurring CI-based failures in
the system-settings suite, which we heard being seen in different merge
requests as well. QA is helping out in trying to identify the issue. It
might soon end up in our 'time counting' non-user-visible issues below.

We only have 2 days before entering TRAINCON-0 so let's hope for the
next images being top-notch and promotion ready.

to whitelist the problem. But a fix is in the works nevertheless.
