that's an interesting way of seeing it. 

Do you have any Idea how that is going to Work on the Desktop in the Future?

I Really hope we will be able to Take the New scopes and extensibility over to the Desktop, unfortunately I have not been able to find any specifics on the Unity 8 Desktop so far.

Hi Christian,
this is not a problem, it is actually how the dash is designed now: it 
behaves like an app, and has functionality of apps (like advanced scopes 
for searching and browsing content).
