Landing team 09.10.14

Hello everyone,

Even though yesterday we had high hopes for a promotion, there were some
things that made us change our decision. First of all: after the recent
changes some people noticed problems with unity8 crashing in certain
cases [1] which became a blocker. Another issue is related to autopilot
smoketesting. Due to the QML caching that landed yesterday some of our
autopilot tests can fail because of apparmor denials. To get a clear AP
situation we would need this to be fixed first.

As everyone probably already saw on the mailing list, we still had some
system-image issues here and there. This did not get completely resolved
till now and we're basically waiting for Stephane to return. New images
*should* be fine, but there are certain cases when the server can have
problems once again. So let's keep an eye out for those.

Another thing that made us re-consider exploratory testing today was the
QA sign-off back-log that was still present in the morning. Now the
situation is much better, with more and more silos getting signed off
and landing into ubuntu-rtm. Thanks go to all QA Team members helping
out - kudos everyone!

We are also finishing up on testing the CI Train dual-landing
functionality. More on this tomorrow.

The list!
