Message #10229
Quick announcement regarding CI Train landings
Hello everyone,
The train is currently still on hold for a while. We are waiting for a
fix to get mako and flo devices unblocked in the ubuntu-rtm distribution
- once this is in, expect a promotion for all platforms in the
ubuntu-rtm/14.09 channel.
Then we can finally unblock landings. This shouldn't take more than a
few hours.
In the meantime a small change has been re-introduced to the CI Train.
Now once again every build of an ubuntu-rtm silo will have the ~rtm tag
appended as before. Sync silos are of course different, as those are
binary copies so there is no need for that.
So, appending ~rtm tag to ubuntu-rtm packages in silos was the default
at first, but then it got reverted by a small mistake. This is now
switched back.
We need to have the ~rtm tag appended as otherwise we can once again
have the situation of a package with different contents in utopic and
14.09 having the same version number after being released at the same day.
Thanks.
Best regards,
