Re: Cannot set MainView background color

 

Right. As you see on your PC the UITK is the last released Utopic version (#1279) and on the device the latest Vivid release (#1403) is available.

If you want to be on the cutting edge UITK on Utopic you need the Staging PPA enabled (ppa:ubuntu-sdk-team/staging). But please be warned, that repository is not supperted by any mean. It contains the daily release of our development branch for testing purposes. So you are on your own if it drinks your beer and eats your pizza :)
