android-gadget-service is just a dbus service ... the "enable rndis"
command makes it
first switch the android USB gadget from mtp to rndis (which creates a
network interface) and afterwards it calls the /usr/bin/tethering script
from the backend to manage the network manager setup for a shared
connection.
