Hello,

I have a question re/ the suspend mode of the device BQ r23. During the
day I have it all time attached to the USB port of my FreeBSD netbook and use it as a
router to Internet (via mobile data), or sometimes I SSH into the device
and lookup something there or fetch a file, etc.. How is all this possible
when the device is in suspend mode? Something magic...

Thanks for some explanation

Its possible as your device never suspends as long as the usb cable is attached. That keeps a wakelock in the kernel held which prevents the system from going to sleep. If you unplug the cable you will quickly see (for example if you have a serial cable connected) that the device will start sleeping.
