Thank you for your answer Matthias. I did just that and here's part of

Now, the 3 messages sent by Orange are invisible. The message sent by
Orange.pl is. The difference I see is the visible message has a
date/time in the last field while the invisible ones don't. Is this
related to being (not)read?
Here are two messages:

visible:

accountId: ofono/ofono/account1|
threadId: Orange.pl|
eventId: 2015-08-20T19:01:03+0200-1|
senderId: Orange.pl|
timestamp: 2015-08-20T17:01:03.000|
newEvent: 0|
message: Witamy w orange.pl, ....|
messageType: 0|
messageStatus: 0|
readTimestamp: 2015-08-20T17:01:49.627|
subject:

invisible:

accountId: ofono/ofono/account1|
threadId: Orange|
eventId: 2015-08-20T18:22:48+0200-1|
senderId: Orange|
timestamp: 2015-08-20T16:22:49.000|
newEvent: 1|
message: Witaj w taryfie Orange ...|
messageType: 0|
messageStatus: 0|
readTimestamp: |
subject:

The visible has a readTimestamp: (because you have read it), the
invisible has not (because you have not yet read it). The same is with
the newEvent: 0 and 1.

I wonder who is the sender Orange.pl and who is Orange in your contacts.
Are both there?

And in the visible the eventId: and timestamp: do match, in the
invisible is a diff of one minute 48 ./. 49

I would file a bug with the data. Someone should look into the sources.

matthias

Thanks for looking into this.

These senders aren't in my address book, these are sent by the operator with the letter string instead of the sender phone number.

I should file a bug against the messages app, right?

Thanks
