thx for your help
this is what i did:

adb shell
>sudo system-image-cli --switch --channel STABLE

also tried ubuntu-device-flash touch --wipe --channel
ubuntu-touch/stable/meizu.en <-- a .tar.gz file seems to be on hold when
pushed to the device, 2.3 hours and still pushing..
