Re: WARNING: CI Train "force merge" ability will be going away...
Hello Robert,
I'm +1 on this change. Although I do think that the ability to
force-merge is good, as sometimes that's necessary to continue
development (or fix problems with the infrastructure), things like this
should not be done without coordination with the landing team.
We're all aware of the deadlines that developers are facing, but it
should be the landers/devs responsibility to see their packages migrate
to the end. That was the original idea behind Didier's manual merging of
silos. And this is all for the best: to get xenial in better shape and
making it worthy as the future possible base for Ubuntu Touch.
