Message #16761
Serious issues - phone unusable
Hey,
Lately I had really bad issues with my BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition
(15.04 (26) 20151015-214614). I just tell you a few things, for some
there are already bug reports for others not (maybe I'm inserting them
in the next days). But the combination of this bugs makes the phone very
unreliable. And I'm seriously thinking of flashing it with Android. Does
anybody have the same (combination of) issues?
- Unity crashes while the phone is ringing, I see the "Ubuntu" writing.
- I can't hang up anymore Bug #1512327
- Phone disconnects from BT headset when starting a call (great
behaviour while driving). The BT icon still is showing to be connected,
reconnection doesn't work
- sometimes the above comes with a general freeze of the phone
- Activating an alarm leads to it showing "disabled", deactivating and
activating it again leads to it being activated but the one below gets
activated too.
An app related issue:
- uNav always sends me on sideroads or tells me to leave the motorway
even though there are 80km to go
And some design things I wanted to say already for a while:
- Apps should somehow be sorted different, when I install a new app it's
always hard to find the ones below since I'm used to g down for a little
and then its eighter left, middle or right. After installing a new app,
that always changes.
- There should be space for 4 apps in a line.
- The toggle switch (for alarms) has a too little, sensitive area
Let me know if somebody has similiar bad issues.
