Right. And I’m not trying to blame the API here, seeing that it really tries to solve a different problem. I’m not asking for the API to do what I need because I suspect that my question should be answered by a different API entirely. (For one, an API that doesn’t have a Qt dependency would seem more appropriate.)

So, from a confined process, can I find out whether Hybris is installed?
