Re: prey on touch

Well, it's limited based in the webapp container - I think Ogra has other priorities. Should be able to attach pictures though - talk me through your problem.

The splash screen i must admit gives it the edge :)

Sure, it's in the online docs. Using my Facebook app as an example, go to /opt/click.ubuntu.com/facebook.mreese/current/app.desktop

The lines of code that give you the splash screen are X-Ubuntu-Splash...
Thest define the header, footer, middle colours and logo - let me know how you go.

Great work Wayne! I hope this becomes more user friendly at some point.

Re your client app - some feedback:

1. Works well, though I've yet to try it with Prey
2. The header should be hidden - you don't need it for that site
3. I don't think the app should be fullscreen - not needed, and getting rid of the header will give you more space 4. Adding a spash screen will make it look more like an 'app', rather than the 'dreaded webapp'

Points 2, 3, & 4 are used in both the Facebook and OMG Ubuntu webapps I've made - take a look at the code to see what I've done. Haven't had time to update them however - they're currently using Ogra's alternative webapp container. Good, but there are now really good features with the standard webapp container that haven't been carried over. I'd continue using the webapp container (default) you've got, and carry over the changes above.

Thanks for persisting with this! Even if some people won't use it (or are morally opposed, for whatever reason), it's great to see more services coming to life. Keep up the great work,

Mitchell
