I've marked this as a duplicate of
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-application-lifecycle/+bug/1502197
which is assigned a task where this can actually be fixed. Perhaps
Thomas (cc'ed) can reply to that bug or here to explain how this might
be resolved.
