Message #18933
uNav status
Hi
I have been following the info on the upcoming release and I see uNav will
figure as one of the default apps.
I am curious: Does uNav function properly for anyone at the moment? I've got a
bq4.5E with uNav installed and have tried it at irregular intervals for the
past year or so without ever getting it to function properly.
I have tried when connected to wifi, to the mobile network or both. I have
made sure the phone is configured to find it's location, and particularly that
this is enabled for uNav. The app only manages to locate my position when I am
attached to a wifi network, which is of somewhat limited use if I wish to use
it for in-car navigation. ;)
Once my position has been determined, I can enter a destination. However, it
then stalls with a message that it is searching for a gps connection.
Is there something wrong at the moment which will be fixed in time for the
release, or am I doing something wrong, or what?
Regards,
Ari
