Hi

I expect that editing the files in this directory isn't
correct:

  /userdata/system-data/opt/click.ubuntu.com/com.ubuntu.terminal/0.7.190/qml/KeyboardRows/Layouts

How can I customise the keys so that the customisations
persist?

PS After messing up an edit of the json files in the above
   directory I now have a terminal which won't run even after
   uninstalling and reinstalling it :-(
