well, I guess all bugs are in that state for default :D
well, not really, when things are designed not to function it is not so easy
For this project in particular, the idea is to have bugs that are,
let's say, "ready to be implemented", this is, that won't require a
hard load of decision making. I see that the bug you sent implies a
design decision on how the phone should behave, so it might not be
suitable for this.
yeah, the whole GPS/Location services thing is immensely frustrating, it
is causing me to recommend a project to put phones in 101 delivery vans
across Europe doesn't use Ubuntu phone but picks Android devices
instead. I am developing the server side logistics telling the vans
where to go, and I could recommend anything, I would like to have
recommended a phone that is open all the way down to the hardware, but I
simply can't because the GPS is designed to be off all the time just to
save a bit of battery life and I have to have something that works.
My phone still thinks I am in Fitzroy square in London where I was on
Saturday night. It needs a band aid, I am totally up for contributing to
a fix, but if it is designed to not work then I can't really contribute
much.
Alan.
