I think this mailing list is quite dead.I would suggest you check on UBPorts and their telegram channels.You might get help there and upgrade to UBPorts images! :D

Pressing the BQ's volume butons does not make the cam taking picture. 
Pressing the button on the stick, makes the screen coming out of dark, i.e. 
some visible effect has. Will look into messages to see if I could find out 
what it does.
