Re-tested on mako with vidid-devel/#111.  Fifteen straight reboots and
no issues with missing CardIdentifier or PreferredLanguage.

Most likely this was fixed by the re-working of the SIM interface
signals which landed in both RTM and vivid:

Bug description:
  The SimManager properties CardIdentifier and PreferredLanguage are
  missing.

  This bug is being reported against
  1.12.bzr6876+14.10.20140904-0ubuntu1 which landed in rtm and utopic on
  20140908.

  This bug only occurs on mako.
