Title:
Modem Manufacturer and Model are hard-coded to 'Fake-*' strings
Status in ofono package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Status in ofono package in Ubuntu RTM:
Confirmed
Bug description:

device: all
The main ofono modem interface ( org.ofono.Modem ) defines two
properties that can be used to identify the device, 'Manufacturer' and
'Modem'. There are currently hard-coded to "Fake Manufacturer" and
"Fake Model" respectively.
The rilmodem driver should be changed to read these values from the
properties 'ro.product.manufacturer' and 'ro.product.model'.
