Title:
SimManager:Retries - 'puk' not updated after failed ResetPin operation
Status in ofono package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Status in ofono package in Ubuntu RTM:
Incomplete
Bug description:
channel: ubuntu-rtm/14.09-proposed
images: mako #135 / krillin #
updated ofono ( 1.12.bzr6882+15.04.20141126-0ubuntu1 ) installed from
vivid.
When an EnterPin operation fails, both mako and krillin signify a
PropertyChange for the SimManager 'Retries' property ( which is a
Dictionary ) and the value of the "pin" entry is reduced by one for
each failed attempt.
When the device becomes PUK locked, failed attempts to PUK unlock the
device via the ResetPin method don't cause a similar PropertyChange
signal for 'Retries' / 'puk'.
On mako, 'puk' is never added to the 'Retries' dictionary.
On krillin, although 'puk' is present, it's value is never updated.
