Re: Summary of sessions from UDS-r for PowerPC

You write "While qemu has finally been built on powerpc in precise to
enable a KVM enabled VM"

but the kvm that I found in precise when I start it it remain in loop
forever , if I have specify the bios it tell me that i couldn't load a PC
BIOS

kvm -boot d -hda hd.qcow2 -cdrom Scaricati/quantal-desktop-powerpc.iso
-bios /usr/share/openbios/openbios-ppc
qemu: could not load PC BIOS '/usr/share/openbios/openbios-ppc'

I have tested on a powerbook 12 inch G4 1.33 Ghz Nvidia GPU.

If I start my compiled qemu 1.2
-qemu-system-ppc -boot d -hda hd.qcow2 -cdrom
Scaricati/quantal-desktop-powerpc.iso -bios /usr/share/openbios/openbios-ppc

I could see the attached image with the openfirmware loader...
I don't know how continue on the boot process on my powerpc virtual
machine.

I hope to have some suggestion from someone.

Thanks

Roberto Innocenti
