$ bzr whoami
jdstrand <Jamie Strandboge <jamie@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>>
$ bzr launchpad-login
jdstrand

Huh. Not sure why it was set like this. I can confirm if I do:
$ bzr launchpad-login jdstrand
$ bzr whoami "Jamie Strandboge <jamie@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>"

Then I get:
$ bzr whoami
Jamie Strandboge <jamie@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

This appears to be a local issue. Marking Invalid.

  Invalid

Bug description:
  Ie I have this (I'm not sure how it was created):
  "maintainer": "jdstrand <Jamie Strandboge <jamie@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>>"

  This should probably be changed to:
  "maintainer": "Jamie Strandboge (jdstrand) <jamie@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>"
