Title:
QFontDatabase: Cannot find font directory spams logs
Status in Ubuntu UI Toolkit:
New
Status in “qtdeclarative-opensource-src” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I was once again bitten by vital pieces missing in builds logs…
QFontDatabase warnings contribute significantly to the noise in all
builds. The fix is dead easy, create the folder usr/lib/*/fonts. But
there's no work-around I'm aware of that doesn't touch system files so
this should be fixed in Qt5 builds.
I did report it against the toolkit for two reasons 1) I can't file
bugs against the qt5 ppa 2) the toolkit is where these warnings cause
problems so it's "affected" in launchpad jargon.
