Title:
Switching to Welcome mode opens some windows that do nothing
Status in “qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I have found that when I use Ubuntu SDK and I switch to the "Welcome
mode", and I click on Develop, Examples, or Tutorials, it opens
multiple windows named "QtCreator". These are "ghost" windows that do
nothing, nor have any content. Moreover these windows cannot be moved,
iconized, or closed. Only if I close the Ubuntu SDK main window, all
these windows will be closed.
Presently I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 64bit, but I have found the same behaviour in other Ubuntu versions like 13.10 and 14.04.
Attached to this bug report a screenshot of the issue.
