  Missing debug helpers in QtCreator/can't view STL containers in
  debugger

  I've recently installed Ubuntu 13.10 Beta and noticed that QtCreator
  seems to be missing the debugging helpers library. This makes it
  impossible to view contents of e.g. the C++ STL containers in the
  QtCreator debugger.

  I tried to install the complete Qt4 SDK, aswell as the Ubuntu SDK, but
  nothing seems to bring the debugging helpers back.

  1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu

  2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname' or by checking in Software Center
  2.7.1-0ubuntu10

  3) What you expected to happen
  When debugging a C++ program in Ubuntu 13.04 in QtCreator, I could easily STL containers such as std::vector, as well as std::string, in the debugger.

  4) What happened instead
  When starting to debug, a messagebox pops up telling me that the debugging helpers couldn't be found and that I should disable them. Then, I can't view STL container contents or std::strings in the debugger
