hitting an upstream bug.

  Carousel doesn't re-render properly after scrolling

Bug description:
  When scrolling in for example music scope all the way down, and then
  up again, from time to time the carousel on the top remains empty and
  doesn't render anything. This started to happen fairly recently (image
  294?).
