  qmlpuppet crashed with SIGSEGV in QGraphicsItem::pos()

Bug description:
  I am on Ubuntu 12.04 64bit updated to 16.4.2012.

  I have opened  File > New File or Project > Qt Quick Project > Qt
  Quick Application to create a new project.

  Switching in the design mode of qtcreator and dropping a .png on the
  default canvas causes that crash of qtcreator.
