On the QtC available in 14.10 and 14.04 both the bzr and git version
control is offered.

  git is not available on first run

Status in “qtcreator” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I started QtCreator for the first time. I have git available and
  installed. QtCreator only offered Bzr version control system and no
  option to select git. Git should be imho the default as well.
