Title:
Debugging doesn't work with QML Extension Library + Tabbed Touch UI
Status in “qtcreator” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in “qtcreator” source package in Saucy:
Fix Released
Bug description:
If I follow the steps in bug #1215913, and click the green triangle
with a bug on it in the lower left, debugging does not work:
Debugging Helper Missing
The debugging helper is used to nicely format the values of some Qt and Standard Library data types. It must be compiled for each used Qt version separately. In the Qt Creator Build and Run preferences page, select a Qt version, expand the Details section and click Build All.
Details:
The debugging helper library was not found at /usr/share/qt5/qtc-debugging-helper/, /usr/qtc-debugging-helper/3076391352/, /home/jamie/.local/share/data/QtProject/QtCreator/qtc-debugging-helper/3076391352/. Enabling this is probably something easy, but I couldn't figure it out and it seems like this should be done for me.
