Title:
where do the installation files go

Status in “qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:

  Reported from: http://developer.ubuntu.com/start/ubuntu-sdk
  /installing-the-sdk/

After the SDK is installed, I do not where I can find the installed
  stuff.

I am thinking whether it is possible to install all of the Qt stuff into a named/chosen directory instead of putting everything there and there. The benefit of doing so is that a PC may allow multiple versions of Qt installations. Most importantly, a developer can easily sort out what the supported APIs are in the installation directories by searching. This is important for them to understand what are the offering in the SDK.

Another point is that we can always install all of the working
examples into the installation though the codes could be pulled from
repositories. Working examples are precious resources for developers
  to learn from.

Regarding the installation, I am not sure whether it is good to
include the setup like creating the emulator and chroot for i386/armhf
(what are the differences? why do we choose over another). It is good
to let developers go to "Tools ==>Ubuntu==>Click" to create the "Click
target". It is mentioned nowhere except that it can be found in some
of the readme files in the coreapps.
