Title:
New scope project times out when started, but not from CLI
Status in Qt Creator plugins for Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Status in The Savilerow project:
New
Status in “qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
What to do:
Create a new scope project with network access.
Hit "Run"
What I expect to happen:
The scope from the template runs, shows one result.
What actually happens:
(note ERROR! line)
Starting /usr/bin/unity-scope-tool...
file:///usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/qml/Ubuntu/Components/Themes/Ambiance/TabBarStyle.qml:62: TypeError: Cannot read property 'selectedIndex' of null
file:///usr/share/unity8/Dash/DashContent.qml:101: TypeError: Cannot read property 'loaded' of null
file:///usr/share/unity8/ScopeTool.qml:149:23: Unable to assign null to QString
ERROR! Caught unity::scopes::TimeoutException: Request timed out after 300 milliseconds
file:///usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/qml/Ubuntu/Components/Themes/Ambiance/TabBarStyle.qml:72: TypeError: Cannot read property 'selectedIndex' of null
/usr/bin/unity-scope-tool exited with code 0
If I run from the SDK build directory using unity-scope-tool <ini
path>, the scope shows correctly.
