Title:
  Segfaults when starting debugger

Status in Qt Creator plugins for Ubuntu:
  Fix Released
Status in “qtcreator” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
On Ubuntu 13.10, qtcreator: 2.8.1-0ubuntu1~saucy1~test6, whenever
trying to debug a project that contains C++ code, the debugger
  segfaults.

  Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start Qt Creator
  2. Press Ctrl+N to create a new project
  3. Under Projects, choose Applications
  4. Choose the "Qt Quick 2 Application (Built-in Types)" template on the right
  5. Press the "Choose..." button to continue
  6. On the next screen, give the project a name and press the "Next >" button
  7. On the next screen, press the "Next >" button to go for the default Kit Selection
  8. Click the "Finish" button to create the project
  9. Press F5 to start debugging. The project will build

  Actual:

  - When the build successfully finishes, the debugger starts and fails
with the following message "The inferior stopped because it received a
signal from the Operating System. Signal name: SIGSEGV"

  Expected:

  - When the build successfully finishes, the debugger starts normally

  Notes:

  - Going to the Projects tab, then choosing the Run configuration and
unchecking the "Enable QML" checkbox works around this issue. But
obviously then QML cannot be debugged.
