Title:
  The sdk depends on a hardcoded desktop file

Status in “qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  When testing on a device, the sdk looks for a hardcoded desktop file
  name (based on the package namespace) instead of looking into the
  manifest and figuring out the desktop file name.

  This would make it hard to migrate to multiple apps per package
  namespace when it's implemented.
