Message #04522
[Bug 1498582] [NEW] SDK QtC does not validate click package name
Public bug reported:
I created an application with the SDK QtC and entered app name as
"org.qtproject.qthangman.kaijanmaki"
Everything went fine, except that when trying to upload the package to
(staging) store I get the following error:
"The package name org.qtproject.qthangman is not valid.
It can only contain dashes, numbers and lowercase ascii letters."
Expected Result:
SDK QtC validates the application name when project is created.
Actual Result:
SDK QtC allows to create click packages that can not be uploaded to store.
** Affects: qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
